Welcome to ownmycopy.com and Associates.

 

ownmycopy.com and Associates (“us”, “we”, or “our”) operates OwnMyCopy Software (hereinafter referred to as “APP”).

 

Our Privacy Policy governs your use of OwnMyCopy Software, and explains how we collect, safeguard and disclose information that results from your use of our App.

 

We use your data to provide and improve APP. By using APP, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy. Unless otherwise defined in this Privacy Policy, the terms used in this Privacy Policy have the same meanings as in our Terms and Conditions.

APP means the OwnMyCopy Software operated by ownmycopy.com and Associates.

USAGE DATA is data collected automatically either generated by the use of APP or from Service infrastructure itself (for example, the duration of a page visit).

ownmycopy.com and Associates uses the collected data for various purposes:

 

(a)  to improve our APP;

 

(b)  to provide customer support;

 

(c)  to detect, prevent and address technical issues;

OwnMyCopy’s use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

 

8.    Additional Limits on Use of Your Google User Data

 

Notwithstanding anything else in this Privacy Policy, the APP's use of that data will be subject to these additional restrictions:

 

(a)  The APP will only use the data to provide features that are prominent in the APP’s user interface.

(b)  Only transfer the data to others if necessary to provide features that are prominent in the APP's user interface. The APP may also transfer data as necessary to comply with applicable law or as part of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets with notice to users. All other transfers or sales of the data would not be practiced.

(c)  The APP won’t use or transfer the data for serving ads, including retargeting, personalized, or interest-based advertising.

(d)  We won’t allow humans to read the data, unless

i)     We  first obtained the user's affirmative agreement to view specific messages, files, or other data, with the limited exception of use cases approved by Google under additional terms applicable to the Nest Device Access program;

ii)    It is necessary for security purposes (such as investigating a bug or abuse);

iii)  It is necessary to comply with applicable law; or

iv)  The use is limited to internal operations and the data (including derivations) have been aggregated and anonymized.

 

9.    Changes to This Privacy Policy

 

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page.

 

We will let you know via email and/or a prominent notice on our Service, prior to the change becoming effective and update “effective date” at the top of this Privacy Policy.

 

You are advised to review this Privacy Policy periodically for any changes. Changes to this Privacy Policy are effective when they are posted on this page.
